Antique Austro-Hungarian Renaissance Revival pendant, circa 1880, sterling silver with enamel and garnets. The openwork plaque centres a white-enamelled centaur archer — Sagittarius — above a grotesque mask, in an enamelled scrollwork frame set with two oval garnets and two pearl cabochons, enamelled on the reverse as well. Three garnet drops below.
Enamel shows wear and small losses at the edges, consistent with age — see the close-up photos, which show the piece exactly as it is.
