Antique sterling silver chatelaine propelling pencil with beautiful chased decoration.
The tapering body is spiral-fluted and hand-chased with scrolling foliate ornament, finished with domed end caps and an oval chatelaine loop at the top. The pencil telescopes smoothly — 2.5 inches closed, extending to a full 4 inches with the reeded slide drawn out and the tip propelled.
