A wide cuff ring in sterling silver, handmade in Taxco, Mexico.
The broad band is darkened to an oxidized ground and worked all the way around with flowers, leaves and beads in high relief - each blossom hand-cut and applied, its petals chased, standing proud of the surface in three dimensions. The bright polished silver of the flowers against the blackened band is the classic Taxco contrast, from the silver workshops that have made the town's name since the 1930s.
The shank is open at the back and adjusts from a minimum size of 7 upward. Stamped 925 inside the shank.
